I *Heart*......
Friday, February 24, 2012 at 7:45PM Friday. Any Friday. Even Friday the 13th. Doesn't matter - just give me Friday. We have "casual" Friday at the office and the day (usually) isn't quite as hectic. I love knowing that I have two days to piddle around the house. Do you like to piddle? I'm always excited that I can stay up as late as I want because that darn alarm clock is turned off for the next two days. The sad part is that I fall asleep at my normal time. No Leno or Letterman for me.
I love knowing that I will spend a bit of time in my stamp room. And speaking of my stamp room. I spent a bit of time in there this past Monday.....piddlin'. For this card, I pulled out my new Kraft ink pad. Oh my goodness - I adore this color!
I stamped one of the images from Harvest Berries around the edge of vintage vanilla card stock. I stamped the little trio of berries with pure poppy. I also stamped the single berry as well and then I placed a little red gem on top. Placing the gem on top of the inked image made the color deeper and richer.
The sentiment is from A Big Thank You, a gift from Papertrey. I stamped it at the bottom with dark chocolate ink and then placed a piece of pure poppy satin ribbon just above it.
I corner rounded the bottom of both layers using my corner chomper. And there you have it, a Friday ditty from me to you. I told you that I love Friday. *wink*
Later chickies!
