When All Else Fails.....
Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 6:06PM pull out the dies. I spent a bit of time in the stamp room this past Monday and sadly, I was all alone. Yes, once again, the mojo decided to give me plenty of space. I would pull out one stamp set, look at it and then put it away. I would then pull out another set, look at it and then put it away. I would pull out......well, you get the idea. Soooooo, instead of pulling out yet another set, I pulled out a die, a punch, an embossing folder and some ribbon. Easy peasy and probably I should be ashamed of myself for such a simple card. But, I'm not.
What I am ashamed of is that I didn't take photos of this card on Monday while the sun was shining. I even pulled out the photo tent, but it just didn't help as much as I would have liked. The sun was out this morning, but by the time that I got home from work, it was quite cloudy. Darn it!
Here's a little close up of the butterflies. The bottom one is die cut using the PTI butterfly die and the small one was done using the Martha Stewart butterfly punch. And you know it! There is a bit of bling in the center of each.
So, when the mojo isn't cooperative, pull out the dies and get busy.
Later chickies!

Awesome. Love the clean look this has! I've TOTALLY been there, pulling out stamp set after stamp set...I usually just sit and stare at my table, and then go on the computer, lol, so GOOD for you sticking to it, and making SOMETHING. Turned out beautifully.
I think its a great card! So pretty and clean! The butterfly is so cute in the patterned paper! I lots dots so I think its a perfect embossing folder to use! Love the colours too!
I LOVE this card! I love the swiss dot embossing folder with the dots on the butterfly (and of course those little gems!). And the PTI and MS butterfly combo--So Cute!! Way to go, girl!
