Chick n Lil's Photo-Inspired Card Challenge
Monday, February 14, 2011 at 9:03AM Hi friends! Pam's daughter here, and I thought it was high-time for another challenge, and this time I wanted to participate...(in my own Lil way)!
Since my hobby is photography and my Mom's hobby is stamping, I thought...why not combine the two? Now I know you all are looking at me funny right now, but just hear me out. It'll be fun, I swear! (And if you're still skepticle, there IS a prize included, so keep reading dangit.)
I'm going to provide one of the photos I took at the beginning of last summer. All you need to do is use it as inspiration for a card. See, that's not so bad, right? As it just so happens, this particular photograph of mine was inspired by a card I found while looking at all the beautiful crafting blogs I frequent, so this challenge kind of makes everything come full circle, don't you think?

Here's my take on Whit's challenge. It's not exactly what I had in mind (and will still do), but I was scolded by a certain someone today for not having a card up yet.
This challenge is all about your own, individual creativity, and I can't wait to see what everyone makes. For inspiration you can use the colors, or the layout, the contrast or simply the subject...a flower. Whatever your mind conjures, just go with it!
And the prize, you ask? Well, it's something EVERY stamper can use...

This could be the easiest 10 stamping bucks you have ever earned, so go find your happy place, (Mom, that means you need to get to work in "The Zone"), and have fun! And Mom....you can't "enter", but I certainly expect to see a card posted here in the coming days. (I'm a very demanding child...I know.)
Deadline for entries will be Friday, February 25th. All cards submitted will be entered and a winner will be chose at random and announced on Saturday the 26th.
A blog-hop, card challenge, stamping, photography and blog candy...I mean, I think it's all a match made in heaven. And whatever your hobby, LOVE what you do...it is Valentine's Day after all!
